Reporting Periods & Locking
What are Reporting Periods?
Reporting periods (typically fiscal years) group submissions for HEC reporting. Each submission belongs to one period.
Period States
- Active: Open for submissions
- Locked: Closed - data frozen for HEC
What Happens When Locked?
- All submissions in that period become "Locked"
- No further edits allowed
- Data ready for HEC export
Who Can Lock?
Only Administrators can lock/unlock reporting periods.
Unlocking
To edit locked data, admin must unlock the period. This is audited.
